You will join our Environment department
As our new EIA Manager/Associate you will be part of an established and growing EIA team who are winning and delivering of a range of projects both in the UK and internationally. Sat in a modern office, our Environment and Health division is working on some of the most interesting projects across the globe. We are based in the prestigious Cornerblock building in Birmingham, a short walk from New Street and next to Snow Hill train station. It is only a short walk from both New Street and Snow Hill railway stations. Ramboll operates a flexible working policy, and with this you will be part of an exciting team of experts, who respect each other and work towards a common goal.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Prepare / review tender and proposal submissions (including input to project costings)
- Site inspections
- Report writing, including drafting and/or reviewing Environmental Statement (ES) chapters
- Coordination, management and preparation of ESs
- Client and project team liaison
- Line Management of junior staff
- Attendance at project team meetings
- Attendance at stakeholder meetings and public consultations

- Appropriate degree in environmental sciences, environmental engineering or a related environmental discipline
- Preferably a master’s degree in an environmental discipline but not essential
- Full clean driving licence
- Prior EIA project co-ordination experience and good links to developers, planners, architects and project managers in the property sector
Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: Ability to interpret environmental guidelines, policies, plans and legislative requirements; Ability to accurately measure and record environmental data; Ability to work successfully with various sub-consultants in the delivery of a consistent EIA approach and ES reporting style.
